Just Pools is a family owned business that is a member of the ‘Master Builder’s Association’ and run by Barry Michael, his wife Bronwyn, and son Nicholas .

Nicholas and Bronwyn have completed the S.P.A.S.A. Pool Tech. Certificate course, which covers water treatment and filtration systems, and Nicholas has completed the advanced course, which covers all aspects of Pool Plumbing and Hydraulics. These courses were undertaken in 2000.

Since then Nicholas has been actively involved in the installation and servicing of filtration equipment, and specialising in Heat Pumps.

Bronwyn looks after customer Liaison as well as being our ‘Girl Friday’.

Barry Michael began in the ‘Pool Industry’ in 1971, he spent some six months in the field learning concrete pool construction techniques, in a hands on capacity, before he entered the field of designing and quoting Pools.

During this time he also spent time in the factory making fibreglass pools, as well as time working with the installers, giving him a very good grounding in what it takes to build & install both concrete & fibreglass swimming pools.

This initial schooling was to prove very important, as when Barry was on a site inspection for a client, he was not just another ‘Pool Salesman’, but someone who had a working knowledge of what was required to overcome the many little things, that can become problems if not addressed at the early stages of pre-construction.

Thus, Barry has worked in the industry for the last 36 years & has seen the evolution of the industry.

Barry has worked for a number of companies over the years, & some eight years ago started his own business on the Central Coast of N.S.W. & was responsible for the Sales & Construction of over 90 pools per year for the first 2 years. The business was sold & is still operating today as a ‘Boutique Builder’.

This was followed by a new venture, which was to prove even more successful, as more than 100 pools per year were constructed due to the expertise of ‘Barry Michael and Sons Swimming Pool Brokers’, a business which was sold Two years ago , as commuting from the North West of Sydney was taking it’s toll.
Just Pools was formed 3 years ago, & it brings with it, Barry’s 36 years of Industry experience, including his innovative ‘Special Packages’, and ‘Fibreglass Pools’ in Kit form, as  experience has shown that families want to know all the costs up front, and not just a pool price, + + +.
