Why All Fibreglass Pools Are NOT Created Equal...

Fibreglass pools vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, in both design & size.
Most people would think that these are the only two features to differ, however there are other things that are not readily known.
Water dimensions differ between concrete pools & fibreglass pools, in as much as concrete pool dimensions are actual water measurements ie. 9.000mts x 4.500mts. in surface area. 1.000mt. – 1.650mts in depth is exactly what you get.
Not so with fibreglass pools as all dimensions quoted are transportable dimensions ie. 9.000mts. x 4.500mts. becomes 8.700mts. x 4.200mts of water, due to the 150mm. lip which is around the entire circumference of the pool shell.
This alone is no big deal once you are aware of it, however, prospective purchasers should be made aware of this fact.
The dimensions that make a big difference are the stated depths that are measured from the top of the pool shell to the floor of the pool. Again transportable dimensions.
When you take into account that the water level is at the middle of the skimmer box, the stated depth of say, 1.000mt. – 1.650mts. is actually 850mm. – 1.500mts.
This can be a problem for some families who feel the need for a deeper pool.
Just Pools has 2 ranges of fibreglass pools, one that has industry average depths & one with deeper shells for those who want this advantage.
Both ranges come with the same 25 year warranty & all the most popular designs & interior colours.
